Australia's vast landscapes can be explored comfortably in a motorhome. Equipped with all the necessary amenities, these vehicles provide a cozy home on wheels. From comfortable beds to well-equipped kitchens and bathrooms, motorhomes offer a comfortable and convenient way to experience the beauty of Australia.
3. Cost Savings:
Traveling in a motorhome can be a budget-friendly option for older individuals. With the ability to prepare meals on the road and camp in affordable caravan parks, retirees can significantly reduce their overall travel expenses.
One of the retirees who embarked on this motorhome adventure is Peter Thompson, an 70-year old retiree from Melbourne. He describes the experience as "liberating" and "the ultimate way to see Australia."
"Every day is a new adventure," Peter says. "We wake up in a different location, surrounded by stunning landscapes. It's like having a new backyard every day."

This book is the first of a series of trips Nancy and I have made in Australia. We don't live here but we visit often to see our Son and his family who do live here. They have lived both in Perth, Coomera, and Gladstone.
The other trips are from Melbourne, then South vis the Great Ocean Hiway, then North to Coomera via the Newall Hiway which takes you through the interior of south eastern Australia.
Another trip is by Motor Home from Darwin straight South to Adelaide with adjustments to Uluru, Alice Springs, Coober Petty, the Flanders, the Barraossa Valley, and other interesting spots.
An additional trip from Coomera to Sydney vis the coastal highway and side trips into the eastern mountains along the way.
Lastly, a short jaunt from Coomera to Longreach via Rockhampton.
Not Everyone Travels the same. This is how we like to travel and get most out of it. What is contained in this book is not a tour guide nor a "How TO'. It is a record of an experience we wanted to try, enjoyed it, and want to share .
